- StepsApp is the sole and final arbiter of truth. No appeals.
- Fewest steps in a day loses that day.
- The loser films a limerick about the winner's superior walking and sends it by 12:00 the next day.
- AABBA rhyme scheme is mandatory. Eye contact is strongly encouraged.
- A dead heat means nobody recites, and the Federation opens an inquiry.
- Late limericks are displayed on this website as overdue, in red, forever.
- Treadmills are permitted. Strapping your phone to a dog is not.
